Project Description

Enlisting impactful messaging and a distinct web presence, we helped Chili’s employer value proposition shine.

The Challenge

Chili’s, the flagship brand of Brinker International, Inc., serves guests in more than 1,600 restaurants in all 50 states, 32 countries and two territories. Providing guests with a great dining experience is all in a day’s work at Chili’s. However, their existing career website wasn’t reflecting the vibrant culture, and exciting opportunities, potential employees were craving.

With only one dedicated career page, Chili’s had little opportunity to differentiate their restaurants from Brinker’s

corporate brand. Opportunities were posted to Brinker’s site, creating a confusing user experience – and making the online application process frustrating.

Symphony Talent stepped in to provide a much-needed makeover, giving visitors a taste of what it means to be a “ChiliHead.” By showcasing the ChiliHead culture where ChiliHeads are celebrated and success, hopes and dreams all rest on making guest feel so special that they’ll want to come back again and again.

The Solution

After completing a site audit, the Symphony Talent team created unique messaging and a distinct web presence that allowed Chili’s employer proposition to shine. A brand-new career website and branding narrative “Be part of what’s trending at Chili’s today” captured the essence of Chili’s appeal to potential employees.

Fresh, fun, and highly customized, the new careers site serves up a great experience for jobseekers and current employees alike. Even better, it almost immediately reversed Chili’s downward trend in applicant volume.

The Results

In developing their career website we not only exceeded expectations in making their employer
brand come alive, e.g., being a Chili-head can be the highlight of your career and the perfect
reflection of who you are, but we also incorporated our market leading solutions such as:

  • Responsive
  • SEO
  • Personalization
  • Enhanced Job Descriptions
  • Content Marketing

Just two weeks after the new launched, there were 3000 more applications than in the same week of the previous year.
